MODERN EDUCATION’S
FUNDAMENTAL FLAW
If one had to identify the principle
flaw of the modern system of education, it would have to be the fundamental
ignorance of what education really is. According to the Law of God, education
embodies God’s Law, as it relates to every and all areas of life. Yet, in our
modern paganized system of “so called” education, the state has negated all
Biblical influence of Truth. In essence, the state educational system has
exchanged the “Truth of God for a lie.”
Noah Webster’s 1828 definition of education
clearly captures what the fullness of Biblical education should be:
“The bringing up, as of
a child; instruction; formation of manners. Education comprehends all that
series of instruction and discipline which is intended to enlighten the
understanding, correct the temper, and form the manners and habits of youth, and
fit them for usefulness in their future stations. To give children a good
education in manners, arts and science, is important; to give them a religious
education is indispensable; and an immense responsibility rests on parents and
guardians who neglect these duties.”
Rather than complementing and
augmenting the True education principle, the state educational system has sought
to destroy it. Anti-Christian philosophies and ideas of sinful man have replaced
God’s perfect system of education. Furthermore, modern educational
institutions have adulterated all aspects of absolute morality and Biblical
discipline. This process, and the toleration of it by the masses, has directly
led to the spoiling of our nation’s hope, the children.
The Apostle Paul, by the inspiration
of God, understood that vain philosophies, and the toleration of the masses to
those philosophies, would be the destruction of the people:
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the
tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
(Colossians 2:8 AV)
But I fear, lest by any means, as the
serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted
from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another
Jesus, whom we have not preached, or [if] ye receive another spirit, which ye
have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might
well bear with [him].
(2 Corinthians 11:3-4 AV)

The strategic destruction of a people is done through its future
generations. This is precisely what is being done in America today. Like Hitler
before, so too is our generation being taken from us, right before our very
eyes. What is so dreadfully disturbing, is that while it is bad enough that we
tolerate such a systematically destructive assault upon our children, many
embrace, promote and defend such a system of education.
Perhaps we could understand why
those who do not profess orthodox Christianity shuffle off their children to the
camps of secular humanism. But when the community of the saints do as the
heathen, then what? It gets worse. Like the layman, even the pastors, who ought
to know how important the basic and fundamental precepts of the Christian Faith
are, as it concerns the generational idea of the Covenant, have embraced and
made excuses for the secular educational system of the state. This is both
treason and blasphemy. While the pastors ought to be instructing and encouraging
Christian parents to teach their children the principles of Scriptures via
Biblically based academic instruction, they have discouraged their flock and
supported the “de-christianization” of the heritage of the Lord. Thus is the
Scripture fulfilled;
“His watchmen are blind:
they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping,
lying down, loving to slumber.” Isa. 56:10
Concerning the toleration of evil,
Edmund Burke wrote: “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good
men to do nothing.”
In 1835 Alexis de Tocqueville, the
famous French statesman, historian and scholar, wrote in his two part work
entitled Democracy in America:
“I do not know whether
all Americans have a sincere faith in their religion– for who can search the
human heart? But I am certain that they hold it to be indispensable to the
maintenance of republican institutions... In the United States the Sovereign
authority is religious, ...
There is no country in
the world where the Christian Religion retains a greater influence over the
souls of men than in America, and there can be no greater proof of its utility
and of its conformity to human nature than that its influence is powerfully felt
over the most enlightened and free nations of the earth.
I sought for the key to
the greatness and genius of America...
Not until I went into the
churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I
understand the secret of her genius and power.
America is great because
America is Good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be
great.”
